Matt Major

A lifetime resident of Skaneateles, Matt has been working with our community providing recreational and leisure services since the early 1980’s.

Matt manages the operations for both of our state-of-the-art, year-round ice rinks. He maintains and develops ice programs for membership along with comprehensive ice schedules for all other hockey and skating organizations alike.

In addition to the management of the ice rinks he is responsible for the entire SCC facility operations.

He is a graduate of State University at Cortland with a degree in Recreation Management. Matt and his wife, Susan live in Skaneateles with their three children and enjoy the outdoors and Skaneateles Lake.
