We’re proud to recognize Mickey McGinn as our Staff Member of the Month! As one of our dedicated seasonal maintenance team members, Mickey has been an essential part of the Skaneateles Community Center throughout the winter season.

During one of the coldest and snowiest winters, Mickey showed up early each morning often before most of us were awake to clear sidewalks and ensure all emergency exits were safe and accessible. His hard work didn’t stop there; he also played a key role in keeping our facility cleaner than ever.

Beyond his strong work ethic, Mickey is known for his cheerful attitude, friendly interactions with members, and of course, his signature morning music. He brings positive energy to everyone he meets and truly embodies a gold medal personality.

Mickey splits his seasons between here at the Skaneateles Community Center and the Skaneateles Country Club, where he works on the greens crew. As he heads back for the spring and summer season, we’ll certainly miss him but we look forward to welcoming him back Congrats Mickey!!
