Bill Houser has been the Aquatics Director for only a few months, his expertise, leadership skills, and strong work ethic have already transformed the aquatics program at the SCC. His extensive experience has revitalized our pools, which are now bustling with activity and enthusiasm.

Bill has successfully recruited new lifeguards, expanded swim lesson offerings, and introduced innovative programming. He personally teaches 20 swim lessons each week, working with whole families, adults up to 77 years old, and individuals with special needs. In addition, he provides stroke-instruction for triathletes, serves as one of the coaches for the Lightning Swim Team, and will begin teaching a high-intensity water aerobics class in January.

Beyond his instructional roles, Bill manages payroll for his department, oversees all the aquatic facilities, and generously supports staff and members by answering countless questions. His dedication to the SCC is evident in everything he does, and his patience and professionalism are truly exceptional.
