Summer Camp

Summer Camps are Back!

Each week features a fun, themed camp experience with activities including swimming, indoor and outdoor play, art, science, sensory exploration, and STEM. Campers will participate in both small and large group activities.

Current physical and immunization records are required at registration. Parents must provide hard copies.

Valentine’s Sweet Event

Valentine Cookie Kit Workshop

Celebrate the sweet season with our Valentine Cookie Kits, created by Skancakelady! Choose to decorate in house or take your kit home.

When: February 14th

Reservations are due Saturday, February 7.
Pick up begins at 10 AM.

Each kit is $20 and includes everything you need to decorate.

Kid’s in the Kitchen Cooking Party

Celebrate Creativity in the Kitchen

Give your child a fun introduction to cooking! In this interactive program, kids will learn kitchen basics, read recipes, explore ingredients, and prepare simple dishes to take home.

Little Lakers Activity Afternoons

Our Program is a four month experience designed for active young learners. Children will explore, play, and grow through hands on activities in a supportive environment.

Mommy’s Helper -Babysitter Program

Babysitting Basics: Introductory Course

Have you ever thought about becoming a babysitter? This fun and informative introductory course is the perfect place to start!

Participants will learn the basics of caring for children, planning age-appropriate activities, and providing guidance and support—while creating a safe and enjoyable experience for the children in their care. This class is designed to build confidence, responsibility, and real-world skills.

Preschool 2025-2026 School Year (Ages 2-4)

Preschool program is a half-day program from 9:00 am-11:45 am for children ages 2-4. (classrooms open at 8:55 am)

Our preschool program offers a comprehensive approach to early childhood education designed to foster movement, play, socialization, and age-appropriate development in a fun and engaging environment.

With a curriculum that integrates science, math, literacy, art, and music, our young learners are exposed to a diverse range of enriching activities that take advantage of our state-of-the-art facilities including aquatics, ice skating rinks, gymnasiums, and outdoor spaces.

Through these experiences, we aim to enhance each student’s physical abilities, laying a strong foundation for their future academic success.

Members: $285/month

Non-members: $375/month

SAAC 2025-2026 School Year

The Skaneateles Community Center Before and After School Care is a dynamic childcare program that is licensed through the Office of Children and Families Services, serving children enrolled in Kindergarten through 5th grade.

The program is designed to provide the children with opportunities to participate in physical activities including swimming, ice skating, gymnasium time, and more. Enrichment art activities, group games, and free play are offered throughout the program.

The afternoon is filled with activities including homework time, snack, free play and indoor/outdoor activities.

Before School Care:

6:30 am-8:30 am school bus pickup

Member: $256/month 1st child; $246 2nd child

Non-member: $325 month 1st child; $315 2nd child

After School Care:

3:20 pm or 3:40 pm bus drop off-6:00pm

Member: $290/month 1st child; $280 2nd child

Non-member: $340/month; $330 2nd child

Before and After School Care:

Member: $427/month 1st child; $417 2nd child

Non-member: $527/month 1st child; $517 2nd child

We absolutely love everything about preschool at SCC! The teachers are wonderful and keep the kids active and engaged. Swimming, skating, outdoor fun, and lots of learning and crafts are just a few of the weekly activities. We cannot say enough positive things about the program.

We sent our son to the 2’s program and it was such a terrific experience for him and us as parents. The Teachers made us parents feel so comfortable sending our son for the first time to a “preschool program”. We felt very safe with the staff at the SCC, especially how attentive they were int he swim area. Our son loved the different daily activities and made lots of friends. The 2’s program fully prepared out son for a 3 year old preschool experience. We cannot say enough positive things about the classroom teachers who went above and beyond for each student. We miss them already!

My boys have done it all at the Skaneateles Community Center! From summer camp, swim lessons and hosted Birthday Parties. You can’t beat a summer camp where they can swim, ice skate, and outdoor/indoor play. The staff has always made sure our needs were taken care of in a timely manner.

This is our second year for our 6-year-old son in the SACC Program, and he did his first summer of camp this past year. He is always excited to go to the program and has enjoyed making new friends. The Skaneateles Community Center is unique in that it has all the amenities offered such as playing in the gym, swim lessons/swimming and ice skating. Sheila does an excellent job of planning all of the children’s programs. You can tell that she genuinely cares about all of the children and knows them by name. She goes above and beyond to make it a good experience and is responsive to feedback of the parents. Genuine care also shines through in the other staff that she helps to hire and train. Also, what is unique to these children’s programs that the Skaneateles Community Center offers is the extended hours to help accommodate working parents with inflexible jobs, open 7am -6pm in the summer programming, and 6:30am-6pm in the SACC program. Most summer programs offer only partial days, and this would not have been possible for us to do with our work schedules. We are so grateful to have such a wonderful option for our son! Thanks again for all you do and keep being your awesome selves!!

The Skaneateles Community Center’s incredible summer camp program is something our 8 -year- old looks forward to all year. Each spring, we provide a dozen summer camp options, and every year Laney immediately chooses our Community Center’s camp. We are so grateful for an all day, fun filled program that runs for the entire summer!
