Youth Programs
Our Preschool and Youth Programs are designed to provide children with opportunities to develop new skills, engage in enrichment programs and activities, build positive relationships with their peers, and embark on creative adventures. We offer a wide variety of programs from Before and After Care clubs to day camps, and more.

Preschool 2026-2027 School Year (Ages 2-4)
Preschool program is a half-day program from 9:00 am-11:45 am for children ages 2-4. (classrooms open at 8:55 am)
Our preschool program offers a comprehensive approach to early childhood education designed to foster movement, play, socialization, and age-appropriate development in a fun and engaging environment.
With a curriculum that integrates science, math, literacy, art, and music, our young learners are exposed to a diverse range of enriching activities that take advantage of our state-of-the-art facilities including aquatics, ice skating rinks, gymnasiums, and outdoor spaces.
Through these experiences, we aim to enhance each student’s physical abilities, laying a strong foundation for their future academic success.

- Non-members: $385/month
Afternoon Pre-School Only: 3s & 4s
Days: Tuesday – Thursday
Time: 12:15pm – 2:15pm

SAAC 2026-2027 School Year
The Skaneateles Community Center Before and After School Care is a dynamic childcare program that is licensed through the Office of Children and Families Services, serving children enrolled in Kindergarten through 5th grade.
The program is designed to provide the children with opportunities to participate in physical activities including swimming, ice skating, gymnasium time, and more. Enrichment art activities, group games, and free play are offered throughout the program.
The afternoon is filled with activities including homework time, snack, free play and indoor/outdoor activities.
Before School Only:
- Members: $266 1st child &, $256 2nd child /month
- Non-members: $345 1st child &, $335 2nd child/ month
After School Only:
- Members: $300 1st child &, $290 2nd child /month
- Non-members: $360 1st child &, $350 2nd child/ month
Before & After School:
- Members: $337 1st child &, $427 2nd child /month
- Non-members: $547 1st child &, $537 2nd child/ month

Schools Out & Half Days

Spend your half day at Skaneateles Community Center enjoying an action packed day of recreation, games, and fun! Participants will rotate through a variety of activities in the gym, on the ice, outdoors, and in the classroom, making for an exciting and active experience from start to finish.

Little Sneakers Movement Class
Come play in the gymnasium with Little Sneakers Movement Class! This program is designed for children & caregivers. Your instructor will be Ms. Tessa, a Skaneateles Community Center staff member and longtime YMCA Terrific Two’s instructor. Ms. Tessa is also a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, bringing a fun and supportive movement based approach to each class.
Time:Mondays 9:15am –10:00am
6 Week Sessions:
- Session 1: October 5th –November 9th (Registration Closes: September 28th)
- Session 2: November 16th –December 21st
- Session 3: January 4th – February 8th (No class Feb. 15)

Summer Camps are Back!
Each week features a fun, themed camp experience with activities including swimming, indoor and outdoor play, art, science, sensory exploration, and STEM. Campers will participate in both small and large group activities.
